Jessica Beard

Jessica Beard ( born January 8, 1989 in Euclid, Ohio) is an American sprinter.

At the Track Junior World Championships in 2006 in Beijing she won the 400 - meter race in fifth place and won the 4 x 400 - meter relay. At the Track World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz in 2008 she won the 400m silver medal in the relay, and managed to defend the title.

Her first international assignment in the adult area came at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009. She was a member of the U.S. 4 x 400 - meter relay team that won the gold medal. Beard himself, however, was only used in the qualifying round. In the 400 - meter race she reached the semi-finals in Berlin.

Jessica Beard starts for the Texas A & M University and studied psychology there.
