Jessica Steen

Jessica Steen ( born December 19, 1965 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress.

Life and work

Jessica Steen's career began in early age of eight years, during which she performed for a Canadian children's show The Sunrunners.

She had several leading roles in television series, but did not run very long. She played a pilot in the series Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future (1987-1988) and a doctor in the science fiction series Earth 2 (1994-1995 ).

1996 Steen has the Gemini Award for best actress ( Best Actress) for her portrayal of the character Nora in the TV movie Small Gifts won.

A supporting role she played in the comedy Trial and Error (1997) with Charlize Theron.

In 1998, she had next to Liv Tyler as the female lead in the movie Armageddon - The Last Judgment. She played the Space Shuttle pilot Jennifer Watts, directed by Michael Bay.

In addition to roles they had in various series such as ER - The ER, Murder One, The Pretender, Monk, Mutant X, Stargate - Kommando SG -1, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Charmed - Magical Witches, Nip / Tuck - Beauty has its Price and NCIS.
