Jesualdo Ferreira

Manuel Jesualdo Ferreira ( born May 24, 1946 in Mirandela, Portugal) is a Portuguese football coach. In his career as a coach, he has played more ( before the season 2006/ 07) 192 games, of which he won 82, played 47 times and losing 63 times lost. However, his teams scored 259 goals and 288 points and received 214 goals.

He previously oversaw a number of Portuguese clubs, where he was primarily known in his time at Sporting Braga. He received early in the season 2006/ 07 a contract with Boavista, however, moved ahead of season start for FC Porto, where he received a two-year contract. This post had fallen vacant after the departure of the previous surprising coach Co Adriaanse. Since his arrival at FC Porto Jesualdo Ferreira twice won the national championship.

On 26 May 2010, FC Porto announced to terminate the agreement with Ferreira. In June of the same year he signed a contract with Spanish first division club Málaga CF. In early November, the Portuguese was released after only nine game days.

Between 2010 and 2012 he coached the Greek club Panathinaikos Athens, he is since January 7, 2013 Coach of Sporting Lisbon.
