Jesús María Zamora

Jesús María Zamora Ansorena ( born January 1, 1955 in San Sebastián ) is a former Spanish footballer.

Playing career

Zamora played his entire career at Real Sociedad. The Basque came in 1974 to Real Sociedad and remained until 1989. During this time he won two Spanish championships with the club and each one Spanish Cup and the Spanish Super Cup. The first league title Zamora scored the decisive goal in the final round to the title in Spain. He finished his career in 1989.

Internationally, he played 30 times for Spain, scoring three goals. He took part in the European Championships in Italy in 1980 ( Eliminated in the group stage ) and at the 1982 World Cup in their own country, where the Spaniards were eliminated in the second group stage.
