The place name

This derived from the Old High German name part " Jetto " was used at that time for weed, or as a plant name for Wiesenlolch. A person's name, which may be associated with this Jetto is not known. So it can be assumed that the first settlers had to weed out these Lolch to make the meadows, but also the local center arable. This epithet " Jetto " was hung still at the basic word - bach. Thus would the original meaning of the place name as Bach, who overgrown by a with Wiesenlolch ( Jetto ) valley flows to explain.
