Jetzendorf

Jetzendorf is a municipality in the southwest of the district Pfaffenhofen in the district of Upper Bavaria.

Geography

The main towns of the municipality Jetzendorf and Priel lie along this stream in the upper Ilm valley. The natural area is part of the Upper and Lower Bavarian Tertiary hill country.

History

The first mention was in the year 893. In the Middle Ages Jetzendorf was a Hofmark with frequently changing masters. Since 1812, the lords of the castle Jetzendorf from the family Keßling - Freyberg come. The buildings of the castle date back to several phases of construction in the 16th and 19th centuries.

Incorporations

On January 1, 1971, until then independent municipality Volkersdorf was incorporated. On April 1, 1971, added a part of trie Fing. Hirschhausen followed on 1 January 1975. Territory parts of the dissolved municipality stone churches were added on 1 April 1975.

Policy

First Mayor of the municipality since 1990 Richard Quick (CSU ).

Represented in the City Council are: CSU (6 seats ), Independent Party ( 5 seats ), SPD ( 1 seat), Free citizens ( 1 seat), constituency association Lampert Hausen ( 1 seat).

Blazon: Split; front in red a right inverted, black reinforced Ibex hull; divided back of silver and blue, three down, two to one asked, golden balls.
