Jeunesse Club d'Abidjan

Jeunesse Club d' Abidjan Treichville, often abbreviated as JC Abidjan, is an Ivorian football club based in Abidjan.

History

The club was founded in 1933. Initially, the temperature had problems despite strong single player in the team game, but could be improved, in 1938, was a finalist of the Coupe Darre and 1942 winner of the Cup city of Abidjan. It was subsequently JC dominant force in the colony Ivory Coast. In 1948, the club qualified via the South Zone for the final of the Coupe d' AOF against Foyer France from Dakar Senegal. The game lost JC on May 9, 1948 in Abidjan with 0:4.

The greatest success of JC Abidjan was winning the Ivorian Cup in 1963. The club currently plays in the first Ivorian league. Play their home games out of the club colors of red and white accruing club at the Stade Robert Champroux, which offers 20,000 spectators.
