Jez Alborough
Jez Alborough ( born November 13, 1959 in Kingston upon Thames ) is a British author and illustrator of numerous children's books, whose works have been translated into 15 languages and won many awards.
Biography
After compulsory education Alborough completed a three-year artistic training at the School of Art, Norwich. In his senior year, he published his first book, A Bun Dance. After graduating, he worked as a freelancer for several publications and has been permanently employed after some time the Wales magazine The Listener. From his work, another book Dotty definition, where he received a request to illustrate his first children's book Bare Bear, was published in 1984 showed. Since then Alborough works as a freelance children's book author and illustrator. He lives with his Danish wife in Richmond, a suburb of Greater London.
