Jhunjhunu (Hindi: झुन्झुनू Jhunjhunu [ dʒ ʱ ʊndʒ ʱ ʊnu ː ] ) or Jhunjhunu (Hindi: झुंझुनूं, Jhunjhunūṃ [ dʒ ʱ ʊndʒ ʱ ʊnũ ː ] ) is a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is the capital of the district of Jhunjhunu and has about 119,000 inhabitants ( 2011 census ).

Jhunjhunu is located at an average altitude of 323 meters. The city is 180 km away from the Rajasthani capital of Jaipur.
