Ji Young-jun

Ji Young -jun ( Kor. 지영준; * October 15, 1981 in Seoul) is a South Korean marathoner.

In 2001 he won the Chuncheon Marathon in 2:15:32 h A year later, he became the third in the JoongAng Seoul Marathon a huge increase in 2:09:48.

In 2003 he was second at the Seoul International Marathon in 2:08:43, however, came at the World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint- Denis, on the 52nd place. In 2004 he reached the sixth Seoul International Marathon, a time of 2:08:54 and qualified for the Olympic Games in Athens, where he was ranked 17.

A fourth place at the Seoul International Marathon 2006 and a ninth at the JoongAng Seoul Marathon in 2007 was followed in 2008 by a tenth or ninth place in this race.

In 2009, he was initially fifth at the Seoul International Marathon and then won the Daegu Marathon in 2:08:30. At the World Championships in Berlin, he did not reach the goal, however.

In 2010 he signed up with a second place in Daegu back and broke up with his time of 2:09:31 for the fifth time the 2:10 hour mark. In a marathon, the Asian Games in Guangzhou, he won gold.
