Jianning County

Circle Jianning (Chinese建宁县, Pinyin Jianning Xiàn ) is a the district of the city of Sanming in Fujian province, China. It has an area of 1705 km ² and has 140,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Suicheng (濉 城镇).

The former site of the guide seat of the First Front Army of the Chinese Red Army of Jianning ( Jianning hong yi Fangmianjun Lingdao Jiguan Jiuzhi建宁 红 一方面 军 领导 机关 旧址) in 1931-1933 is since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-968 ).
