Jiedong District

The circle Jiedong (揭东县) is a county in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong. He belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city Jieyang. Jiedong has an area of 850 km ² and has approximately 1.22 million inhabitants (2003 ). Its main town is the large village Quxi (曲 溪镇).
