K. K. Jiji Tsūshinsha (Japanese株式会社 时事 通信 社, kabushiki - gaisha Jiji Tsūshinsha; engl Jiji Press Ltd.. . ) Is a Japanese news agency headquartered in Chūō, Tokyo Prefecture. Jiji Tsushin has approximately 1,000 employees and maintains 79 national and 28 foreign offices, including a correspondent office in Frankfurt am Main. In addition to their Japanese services, it also offers an English-language service.

1945 smashed the occupation authorities ( SCAP / GHQ) in 1936 established state domei Tsūshinsha, whereby the two major Japanese news agencies of the postwar era emerged: Kyodo Tsushin and Jiji Tsushin.
