Jilintai I Dam

The Jilintai Dam ( Jilintai I, Chinese吉林 台 一级 电站, Pinyin Jílíntái YiJi Jianzhan, First power plant Jilintai ') is a dam on the Kasch with a CFR dam as a shut-off. It is 29 km east of Nilka in a circle Nilka in Xinjiang, China.

The dam was constructed between 2001 and 2005 and has several purposes, primarily hydroelectric power generation. The hydropower plant has 460 MW. Jilintai I is the first of ten dams that are planned at Kasch. The memory space of the reservoir is 2530 million cubic meters, the utility space is 1700 million cubic meters in size.

The construction of Jilintai II, which is located directly downstream, began in May 2008 and the 50 - MW power plant was put into service in October 2010. The project, including distribution dam was completed in April 2011.
