Jill Chaifetz

Jill Chaifetz ( born July 24, 1964 in New York City; † 2 February 2006 in Manhattan) was an American activist for children and director of Advocates for Children.

Life

Chaifetz received 1986 ungraduated a Ehrenauzeichnung in political science from Swarthmore College and an award in law from New York University School of Law. Before she became an advocate for children, she led an agency for youth development in Manhattan, where she worked from 1992 to 1998.

She died of cancer, leaving behind her husband and three children.
