Jill Vernekohl

Jill Vernekohl ( born November 10, 1980 in Bochum ) is a German figure skater.

Biography

Jill Vernekohl began at the age of five years with the ice skating. In 1998, she became German Junior Champion in ice dancing with Jan Luggenhölscher. The pair started for the TSC Eintracht Dortmund. Shortly before the Junior World Championship 2000 in Oberstdorf the couple separated.

Your new partner was the Este Dimitri Kurakin. With him Jill Vernekohl was twice runner- German behind Kati Winkler and René Lohse. First and at the same time last international title fight was the 2002 European Championships, in which the couple had to give up injured after the original dance. Soon after both runners finished her amateur career.

Together with Kurakin she appeared several times at "Musical on Ice" in Dinslaken with. Today she trains the next generation of the ERG Iserlohn.
