Jim Brickman

Jim Brickman ( born November 20, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American pianist and songwriter.

Biography

Jim Brickman had classical music training, but soon turned to the popular music. In the early years he wrote for a music for commercials for large companies such as Kellogg's and Isuzu. On the other hand, he worked with Jim Henson and made music for the Muppets Show and Sesame Street.

His first album with a gentle pop music for piano, he published until 1994. In the New Age album charts he had thus a moderate success. Just a year later managed his second album By Heart: Piano Solos on the Billboard 200 in two years, it sold over half a million copies and was certified gold.

By the end of 2013 he published compilations including 29 albums, 18 of which reached # 1 on the New Age charts and almost all came in the official charts. Three more gold albums were among them.
