Jim Knobeloch

James Joseph Knobeloch ( born March 18, 1950 in Belleville, Illinois) is an American film and theater actor.


Knobeloch is primarily for his role of Jake Slicker in the Western series Dr. Quinn - became known to a wide audience, Medicine Woman. He has been married since the early 1990s with Beth Sullivan, the creator of Dr. Quinn, and has two children with her, the twins Jack and Tess, who were born in 1996.

After a supporting role in the produced between 2001 and 2002 short-lived Western series Ponderosa Knobeloch took over in 2005 also a small role in Peter Jackson's adventure movie King Kong.

In addition Knobeloch is an actor who can be seen at the theater in independent productions.
