Jim Norton (actor)

Jim Norton ( born January 4, 1938 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish film and theater actor.

Life

1999 Norton played on Broadway in the play The Weir on the role of Jack.

In the film adaptation, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Norton 2002 played the role of Mr. Mason.

For his supporting role as Richard Harkin in the play The Seafarer, he was awarded an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor (2007) and a Tony Award as Best Supporting Actor.

On Broadway, Norton was again from 2009 to 2010 in the musical Finian 's Rainbow can be seen in the lead role of Finian McLonergan, for which he received outstanding reviews.

In 2011, Norton on the side of Robert Pattinson, Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz was featured in the literary film Water for Elephants.
