Jiménez Municipality, Lara

The district Jiménez is one of the nine districts of the state of Lara, Venezuela. The capital is Quibor.

A part of the district is located in the Andes and has a temperate climate. The valley of Quibor is deeper and has a much higher average temperature ( to 38 ° C). The region's economy is primarily based on agriculture.
