Jimm

Jimm is an ICQ client for free cell phones and PDAs, can connect via GPRS or UMTS with the ICQ network.

The Jimm Project was founded under the name MobICQ, had the name but because of legal problems change with AOL. The abbreviation stands for Java Jimm Instant / ICQ Mobile Messenger. The program is based on Java and runs on all J2ME devices offer the support socket and at least 250 kB heap memory have to be used. Support includes file transfer, storing the local history, emoticons and the search and add contacts. Jimm is under the GPL and thus meets the requirements of free software.
