Jimmy Kite

Jimmy Kite ( born February 18, 1976 in Effingham, Illinois) is an American race car driver.

He made his debut in 1997 in the Indy Racing League, where he participated in about 30 races, including four starts in the Indianapolis 500 in 2005, he intended to participate in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He competed in four races before moving back to Indy Cars, where he replaced the injured Paul Dana at Hemelgarn Racing and from the Indianapolis 500 remained the rest of the season.

Since the end of the 2005 season, he has largely retired from racing and set up in November 2006, the JK Hobby World. His attempt to qualify with PDM Racing for the Indianapolis 500 2007, failed. For the 2008 race, he got no place in a team.
