Jimmy Makulis

Jimmy Makulis ( in Greek characters: Τζίμης Μακούλης, born April 12, 1935 in Athens, † October 28, 2007 ) was a Greek pop singer who enjoyed great success in the 1950s and 1960s in the German-speaking countries.

Life

Makulis worked as a secretary at the British Embassy in Greece. In 1949, he won a singing contest in Athens, under which he was soon to become a successful singer in his home country.
