Jimmy Muindi

Jimmy Muindi (also: Jimmy Mwangangi Muindi; born August 14, 1973) is a Kenyan long- distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

Most of his successes, he won the Honolulu Marathon, where he finished in the top three places 13 years in a row, with six wins ( 1999, 2000, 2003-2005, 2007), four second ( 1996, 1997, 2002, 2006 ) and three third places ( 1995, 1998, 2001).

In 2005 he won the Rotterdam Marathon in his personal best of 2:07:50. He was fifth at the Berlin Marathon in 2002. At the Chicago Marathon 2003 he was fifth, fourth in 2004 and 2006 third.
