Jindřich Balcar

Jindřich Balcar ( born March 22, 1950 in Jablonec nad Nisou, † November 21, 2013 in Liberec, Czech Republic) was a Czechoslovakian ski jumper.

Balcar made ​​his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament 1974/75. After a 25th place in Oberstdorf and a 41st place in Garmisch -Partenkirchen was followed by a 13th place in Innsbruck and the 16th in Bischofshofen. In the end, he finished in 17th place in the overall standings of the Tour. A year later, the Four Hills Tournament 1975/76 he gained placements in the top twenty in all jumping. So he reached 15th place in Oberstdorf, Garmisch 11th place, 20th place in Innsbruck and in Bischofshofen 13th place at the end he stood on the 13th place in the Tour overall standings. At the Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1976, he reached the 27th place after jumps on 88 and 81 meters.

Jindřich Balcar was the older brother of successful also as a ski jumper Jaroslav Balcar.
