King of Bandit Jing (Japanese王 ドロボウJING Ō Dorobou Jing ) is a manga of the artist Yuichi Kumakura, which was filmed as anime. It can be assigned to the shōnen genre. The manga is King of Bandit Jing with: continued Bottle.

Action

The boy Jing calls himself the King of Thieves and travels together with his loyal companion Kir, a crow -like bird, through the world in search of treasures that are priceless. He comes through different cities, that are highly imaginative and each have a specific theme. There are, for example, the city of music, in the music all uninterrupted. He meets various people, mostly girls, whom he helps with the weapon he uses Kir Royal, which represents the bird Kir. However, he never forgets last still to acquire a certain treasure.

Characters

  • Jing - is a boy and the King of Thieves. Who he is, where he comes from and whether he has a family is a long time not betray. He is always very quiet.
  • Kir - is a bird and Jing's constant companion. A very cheeky creature that willingly and often falls in love with different girls and Jing then persuaded to save them. If he jumps on Jing's arm, he turns to his command in a gun and spewing a kind of energy ball.

The first series has been released in Japan since 1995 in Kodansha and in Germany in 2002 Dino Comics and is finished with 7 volumes. In America, the series was licensed by Tokyopop. King of Bandit Jing: Bottle has been published since 2003, Planet Manga in Japan and is also not yet been completed and is up now 7 volumes.

There exist a TV series and OVAs 3, the latter of which have already appeared in Germany at ADV Films Germany and in the U.S. at ADV Films. The series was produced in 2002 by Studio DEEN.
