Jinhua

Jinhua (Chinese金华 市, pinyin Jinhua Shì ) is a prefecture-level city in the center of southeast China's Zhejiang province. The economic center is located about 300 kilometers south of Shanghai in a valley. Jinhua has about 4.5 million inhabitants on an area 10,900 square km. The cities of Yiwu, Dongyang and Yongkang among the 100 strongest economic circle cities among the 374 district towns of China.

Administrative Divisions

The prefecture-level city of Jinhua is made at the county level from two districts, four urban districts and three counties. These are:

  • City Wucheng (婺 城区) Wucheng Qū;
  • City Jindong District (金东区) Jindong Qū;
  • Lanxi City (兰溪 市) Lanxi Shì;
  • Yongkang City (永康市) Yǒngkāng Shì;
  • Yiwu City (义乌 市) Yiwu Shì;
  • Dongyang City (东阳 市) Dongyang Shì;
  • Wuyi county (武义 县) Wǔyì Xiàn;
  • Pujiang county (浦江 县) Pǔjiāng Xiàn;
  • Circle paan (磐安 县) paan Xiàn.

The official residence of the Prince Shi (Li Shixian李世贤) of the Celestial Empire of Great Peace ( Taiping Tianguo ) ( Taiping Tianguo Shiwang fu太平天国 侍 王府), the main hall of the temple Tianning ( Tianning si Dadian天宁寺 大殿), the site of Tiedian ceramic kiln ( Tiedianyao Yizhi铁 店 窑 遗址) and the Buddhist stone pillar of Falong temple ( Falong si Jingchuang法 隆 寺 经幢) are on the list of monuments of the people's Republic of China.
