Jinping District

The municipality Jinping (Chinese金 平 区) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Shantou ( Swatow ) in the Chinese province of Guangdong. The municipality has an area of ​​108.71 km ² and has about 740,000 inhabitants (2003 ). He is the center and seat of the municipal government of Shantou.
