Jiří Pospíšil

Jiri Pospisil (* November 24, 1975 in Chomutov ) is a Czech politician of the Civic Democratic Party ODS.

Life

After successful completion of the high school in Plzeň Pospíšil studied law at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. He finished his studies in 1999 as Master from 2002, he obtained for his doctorate doctorate JUDr.

First Pospisil was in 1994 a member of the Civic Democratic Alliance ODA, 1998, he stepped over to the ODS and co-founded the " Young Conservatives " ( Mladí konzervativci ) in West Bohemia. In the parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic in 2002, he was elected for the ODS in the House of Representatives. Since 2007 he is member of the editorial board of the magazine " Státní zastupitelství ".

In the two governments of Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek (I and II) was Pospíšil Minister of Justice of the Czech Republic (2006 - 2009), besides, he was 2006-2007 Chairman of the Legislative Council of the Czech Government.

On 29 September 2009 it Rector Josef Průša appointed temporary Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, after the previous line of the Faculty after a scandal involving opaque title awards and a plagiarism scandal forced to resign. In November 2009, he was officially elected as acting dean, resigned his position but after the re-entry into the government from.

In the bourgeois- conservative government Petr Necas Pospisil was again Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Legislative Council since 13 July 2010. On 27 June 2012, he was dismissed at the request of Prime Minister Necas of President Vaclav Klaus of the government. Necas has justified the dismissal with missing management skills because Pospísil stressful too much financial resources.

Jiri Pospisil was the top candidate of the ODS in elections to the regional parliament of the Pilsen Region in October 2012, with the ODS with 26.48 % in this district against the national trend very well section and the strongest political force was.
