Jiří Valenta

Jiří Valenta (born 14 February 1988) is a Czech football player.

Club career

Jiří Valenta began playing football at the age of seven years at Sokol Kunratice. A year later he moved to Slavia Prague. In the season 2005/ 06 he came to a few appearances for Slavia B. In the summer of 2006 changed the midfielder for FK Jablonec. First, still a reserve player, Valenta belonged since the second half of the season 2007/ 08 to the root formation. In the 2009/10 season Valenta came to just five appearances for Jablonec and changed in June 2010 on loan to FC 1 Slovácka.

National

Valenta stood in the squad of the Czech Under-20 selection, in Canada vice world champion at the Junior World Cup in 2007. Previously, he had already played for Czech U16, U17, U18 and U19. In 2001, the midfielder made ​​two games for the Czech Under-21 national team, in which he scored a goal.
