JK Viljandi Tulevik

Tulevik Viljandi ( officially JK Viljandi Tulevik ) is an Estonian football club based in Viljandi.

The club plays in the II Liiga, the third highest Estonian league. In the 1999 season came with the runner-up behind FC Levadia Tallinn the best club result. This eligible to participate in the UEFA Cup. Tulevik met here in the qualifying round of the Serbian team FK Napredak Kruševac. The first leg in Kruševac was lost with 1:5. In the return match Tulevik achieved a 1:1 and thus different from the competition.

In the 2005 season Tulevik finished fifth. In the 2006 season the team ended after 36 match days, the ninth and penultimate place in the table. Five wins and five draws were here against 26 defeats. The team therefore had to deliver two relegation matches against the runner-up of Esiliiga JK Kalev Tallinn. After a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Tallinn, reached the Crew during game in their own stadium only a 1-1. Due to the away goals rule, this would have meant relegation from the Meistriliiga. The merger of the two clubs from Tartu, Maag Tartu and Tartu Tammeka, but a place was free again and thus remained Tulevik in the top division. In the year 2010, seventh place was reached, but it was followed by the withdrawal from the highest league. Since then, in the II Liiga, the third-highest played.

The team carries out their home games at the 2,000 -seat Viljandi Linnastaadion.
