Jo Ann Kelly

Jo Ann Kelly ( born January 5, 1944 in Streatham, London, England; † 21 October 1990) was a British blues singer and guitarist. It was referred to as " the undisputed queen of British country-blues singer ".

Life

The musical career of Jo Ann Kelly began in the British blues scene of the early 1960s. With her extraordinary voice and influenced by Memphis Minnie and Charley Patton guitar style impressed them in 1964, the audience in the London clubs. With Tony McPhee made ​​her first recordings.
