Jo Duffy

Mary Jo Duffy ( born February 9, 1954) is an American comic book writer and editor.

Life and work

Duffy was hired in the 1980s as an editor for the U.S. comic publisher Marvel Comics, where they remained connected until the early 1990s. At the edited of her titles included the Marvel comic book series to the movies Star Wars and Conan the Barbarian. In 1990, Duffy also the authorship of the popular comic series Wolverine.

For DC Comics Duffy wrote the first 14 issues of the comic series, launched in 1993 by the seductive professional thief Catwoman, and two fill-in issues of the flagship series of the publisher, Batman (# 401 and 413). For Image Comics Duffy wrote the series Glory.
