Joachim Fritsche

Joachim Fritsche ( born October 28, 1951 in Delitzsch) was soccer player in the GDR Oberliga and played from 1973 to 1977 in the national team of the GDR.

League players

Joachim Fritsche began eight years old at the BSG Traktor Delitzsch playing football. While still a junior player he was in 1968 delegated to the 1 FC Locomotive Leipzig and took on an apprenticeship as a roofer. In 1970 he was inducted into the first men's team, which had just arrived as a second division side in the final of the East German Cup competition had managed ( 2:4 against Vorwärts Berlin ) and the rise in the DDR - Oberliga. 1969 Joachim Fritsche was appointed to the East German youth team and won with his team in 1970 by drawing lots after a 1-1 draw against Scotland in the final, the UEFA youth tournament.
