Joachim Gottschalk

Joachim Gottschalk ( born April 10, 1904 in Calau; † November 6, 1941 in Berlin) was a German actor.

Life and reception

Joachim Gottschalk, son of a doctor, attended high school in Cottbus and drove four years after graduating from high school at sea. After leaving service, he took acting lessons in Cottbus and Berlin. During an engagement at the Volksbühne Württemberg in Stuttgart, he met his future wife, actress Meta Wolff know. On May 3, 1930, she married in Halberstadt and in February 1933 was their son Michael was born.

After the seizure of power by the Nazi regime was founded on 1 August 1933, the Ministry of Arts ( RTK). Only whose members had the right to be active in the German Reich in a theater professional.
