Joachim Winterlich

Joachim Winterlich ( born March 17, 1942 in Upper Wiesenthal ) is a German ski coach and former nordic combined.

From 1965 to 1967 starting with the SC tractor Oberwiesenthal him the jump succeeded by reaching the third place in the Nordic combined onto the podium at the national DDR title bouts.

Wintry worked according to his own athletic career as a ski instructor. He coached Jens Weißflog and was national coach and assistant coach in several countries. He served as coach Italy at the 1993 World Championships in Falun, was coach of the teams in the GDR in the 1980s, Switzerland in the second half of the 1990s, and by 2007 Kazakhstan. His local contract, which ran until 2010, he was not fulfilled, but moved to the Bulgarian Association, where he has since been head coach of the Bulgarian team.

Wintry also contributed off the training for further development of ski jumping. He participated in the transformation of the ski jump in Garmisch -Partenkirchen and is the developer of a momentous for the summer competitions in ski jumping glass - ceramic - run track. Wintertime is also a technical consultant for ski run track systems CeramTec ETEC.
