The Office Joachimsthal ( Schorfheide ), based in the town itself is an office in the district of Barnim (Brandenburg), in the four municipalities are combined into a composite administration. It was formed in 1992 and initially consisted of eight municipalities in the former county Eberswalde.

Geographical location

The Office is located in the north of the district Barnim in Brandenburg ( Germany ), and borders the municipality of Schorfheide in the west, to the county Uckermark in the north, and the Office Britz -Chorin - Or Mountain in the south.

History

On 17 June 1992 the Minister of the Interior gave its approval for the formation of the Office Joachimsthal / Schorfheide, has been set for the conclusion of June 19, 1992. Seat of the official administration was the town itself. The following seven churches from the former county Eberswalde were summarized in:

  • Altenhof
  • Friedrichswalde
  • Althüttendorf
  • Wholesale Ziethenstraße
  • Small Ziethenstraße
  • Parlow - Glambeck
  • Neugrimnitz and the City
  • Joachimsthal

On 1 February 2002, wholesale and retail Ziethenstraße Ziethenstraße merged to form the new municipality Ziethenstraße, and Parlow - Glambeck was incorporated by Friedrichswalde. For December 30, 2002 Altenhof was incorporated into the municipality and Finowfurt and retired from office. January 1, 2003 Neugrimnitz finally was incorporated into the municipality Althüttendorf. Thus, the number of official belonging to congregations had been reduced to four.
