Joakim Andersson
Joakim Andersson ( born February 5, 1989 in Munkedal ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward who is since 2010 with the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League under contract and play for their farm team, the Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League.

Career
Joakim Andersson played at the beginning of his career for his hometown club Munkedals BK in the fifth Swedish League, before joining as a 16- year-old for Frölunda HC 2005. There he played in the Under-20 team from the highest Swedish junior league and a good first year with 20 points in 35 games. In the playoffs, he could still his points yield even slightly increase, as Frölunda moved to the finals.
2006/07 increased Andersson when he scored alongside his compatriot Simon Hjalmarsson and the two Danes Lars Eller and Mikkel Bødker to the best strikers in the team. In the playoffs, he eventually was the second best scorer of Frölunda behind Eller and helped the team thus to win the Swedish U20 Championship. Internationally
Joakim Andersson made his debut in the jersey of the Swedish national team at the U18 World Cup in 2006 in front of his home crowd. The "Three Crowns " selection but failed in the quarterfinals of the Czech Republic and also lost the match for fifth place against Russia.
