Joan Jepkorir Aiyabei

Joan Jepkorir Aiyabei ( born May 17, 1979 at Uasin Gishu District ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner, which has its greatest successes in cross and road running.

In 1996, she won the bronze medal in the junior women race in the IAAF World Cross Country Championships. In 2001, she was third in the Route du Vin and triumphed as well in the following year at the Corrida Bulloise.

In 2003 she was at the World Cross Country Championships Twelfth on the long haul and won together with the Kenyan team silver. A short time later, she won the Giro Media Blenio.

In 2005 she won the Route du Vin. The following year she was third in the Cursa Bombers. In 2008 she triumphed at the Barcelona Half Marathon and 2009 when Bredase Singelloop and at the Grand 10 Berlin. 2010 was followed by a victory at the Kempten- Half Marathon second place at the half-marathon competition of the Wachau- marathon.
