Joan Leslie

Joan Leslie ( born January 26, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan, as Joan Brodel ) is a former American actress.

Life

Joan came even as a three year old on stage and began her film career under contract at MGM. By 1940, she was seen in children's roles for various studios. She changed later Warner Brothers, where she changed her name to Joan Leslie. In High Sierra she first played a dramatic role and was to be seen, among other things as a sister of Ida Lupino in The Hard Way. She turned her last movie in 1956. Subsequently, Joan Leslie was seen regularly on television, including appearances in Charlie's Angels, The Incredible Hulk, Simon & Simon, and Murder, She Wrote. In 1996, she ended her career.
