Joan Montseny

Federico Urales (actually, Juan Montseny ) ( born April 19, 1864 in Reus, † March 12 1942 in Salon- de -Provence ) was a Catalan author and militant anarchist.

As workers in the tunnel he entered in 1885 in the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party and became its Secretary General in 1888. Urales was with Soledat Gustavo (actually Teresa Mañé i Miravet ) married. Both were in Reus figures of the anarchist movement. Urales later fled into exile in London. In 1898 he founded in Madrid the daily newspaper " La Revista Blanca ".

He wrote essays, plays and novels La Novela Ideal (1925 ), La Novela Libre (1929 ) and El Luchador ( 1931).

After the victory of the rebels on the Republic in the Spanish Civil War in 1939 he had to flee into exile to France, where he died in an internment camp.
