Joanna Cassidy
Joanna Cassidy ( born August 2, 1945 in Haddonfield, New Jersey as Joanna Virginia Caskey ) is an American actress.
Life
Joanna Cassidy began her acting career in television series such as Mission: Impossible and Starsky & Hutch take over. In Blade Runner, she played the replicant Zhora on the side of Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer and Daryl Hannah. In the film Under Fire starred opposite Nick Nolte and Gene Hackman and out of control she stood beside Keanu Reeves and Morgan Freeman in front of the camera. She starred in several episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise, the mother of Subcommander T'Pol. From 2001 until the series end in 2005, she starred in the television series Six Feet Under - Died will always be the mother of Brenda Chenowith. Together with the ensemble of the series Cassidy was nominated among other things for the Screen Actors Guild Award and won several Emmy Awards.
There were other, some recurring roles in several television series. In Boston Legal, she worked for several episodes as Beverly Bridge to see 2006. In the comedy series Call Me Fitz Cassidy plays the mother of the main character, Elaine Fitzpatrick. Also the mother of the main character she can be seen since 2011 several times in the thriller series Body of Proof as Joan Hunt.
Cassidy was married from 1964 to 1974, from this marriage of her two children.
