Joanne Samuel
Joanne Samuel ( born 1957 in Camperdown, New South Wales) is an Australian actress.
Life
Joanne Samuel first appeared on television in 1973, this year they landed guest roles in the series Matlock Police and Certain Women.
In 1979 she got by chance the lead role in the film Mad Max with Mel Gibson. The actress, who was initially recruited to play the role of Jessie Rockatansky, had a car accident shortly before filming began and was replaced by Joanne Samuel in the short term.
In the 1980s, Samuel had guest roles in nearly all major Australian soap operas, such as at Ratbags or on the hit sitcom Hey Dad! .
