João de Loureiro

João de Loureiro ( born September 8, 1717 Lisbon ( baptism date ); † October 18, 1791 in Lisbon ) was a Portuguese missionary and botanist. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Lour. ".

He lived for 30 years in Cochinchina and three years in China.
