Joaquim Fiúza

Joaquim Mascarenhas de Fiúza ( born February 8, 1908 in Lisbon; † 4 March 2010) was a Portuguese sailors.

Biography

Fiúza participated in the Star class boat already at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Kiel in part, when he finished in tenth place with António de Heredia. In London in 1948 he reached the sixth place along with Júlio Gourinho.

At the Summer Olympics in Helsinki in 1952, he won at the sailing competitions of the Star boat along with Francisco de Andrade a bronze medal.
