Jock (athlete)
Jock [ dʒɒk ] is a commonly used in American English, jocular derogatory slang term for up to a young, physically active man.
The term is derived from the Jockstrap, one is often derived in athletic activities to protect worn underwear, which may also include a jockstrap, the jock turn on the slang word for penis. The Oxford English Dictionary records the first document in the meaning " young athletes " in 1963.
