Jodi Picoult

Jodi Lynn Picoult [ pi ː dʒoʊdi koʊ ] ( born May 19, 1967 in Nesconset on Long Iceland, New York) is an American writer.

Life

Picoult grew up on Long Iceland in the U.S. state of New York. She studied Creative Writing at Princeton University, and in 1987 made ​​their statements. Postgraduate she earned a master's degree in education from Harvard University.

The author is married and lives with her husband and three children in New Hampshire.

" Nineteen Minutes" is Picoults novel from 2007 about the painstaking search for clues to the causes of a student's school shooting in a fictional small town. The book sat down immediately ranked one of the best-seller list of the New York Times and stayed there for weeks. Her next book Change Of Heart, which was released in March 2008, reached the leader position from the state.
