Joe Absolom
Joe Absolom ( born December 16, 1978 in London; native Joseph Absolom ) is a British actor.
Life and achievements
Absolom debuted alongside Imelda Staunton and Saskia Reeves in the independent comedy film Antonia and Jane from the year 1991. Familiarity made him his role in the television series EastEnders, which he played from 1997 to 2000. For this role he won in 1999 the TV Quick Award and was nominated for a National Television Award. In 2000 he won the British Soap Award.
In the film comedy Dream ( 2001) Absolom took a starring role. In the horror film Long Time Dead (2002) he played next to Lara Belmont, Melanie Gutteridge, Lukas Haas and Marsha Thomason one of the major roles; he played a major role in the action thriller Extreme Ops with Devon Sawa and Rufus Sewell from the same year.
