Joe Carnahan

Joe Carnahan ( born May 9, 1969 in Sacramento, California) is an American film director and screenwriter.

His first screenplay he wrote in 1995 for the film Karate Raider. His debut as a film director, he was in 1998 with Blood, Guts, Bullets and Octane, in which he himself came into existence as an actor. For all films directed by him, he wrote the screenplay himself.

The Independent Spirit Awards 2003, he was nominated for the award for Best Director.

His brother Matthew Michael Carnahan is also active as a screenwriter.
