Joe Dale

Joseph "Joe" Dale ( born July 3, 1921 in Northwich, † 11 September 2000) was an English footballer.

Career

Dale played until the summer of 1947 for Witton Albion in the Cheshire County League, before moving to Manchester United in the Football League First Division. There he was due to numerous injury breakdowns as a substitute for the Scottish national team Jimmy Delaney on September 27, 1947 at a 1:2 away defeat against Preston North End to his Erstligadebüt and worked as a right winger and a week later in a 1-1 draw against more than 45,000 spectators in the home match at Maine Road against Stoke City with.
